Another shot i took in Los Angeles, this time at Universal Studios of super heroes parading around the park. I thought it was so funny to see these little kids asking for autographs from these dressed up actors. They actually believed they were the real thing! cute.

I took this picture in Hollywood on my trip to Los Angeles a few weeks ago. It was really rowdy in front of this building with tourists and street entertainers. LA is a very interesting place with a lot to see. This was my 3rd visit and in a lot of ways i found some of the people there seemed a bit superficial but i still think its a great travel spot.

So i took this photo in front of the mirror. I'm still working on using my manual 50 mm lens. i've decided to keep it attached to my camera and use it as much as possible. I've found that this lens takes excellent shots but it challenges you and makes you learn how to focus, when to step forward or backwards for a closer up or distance shot and its great for DOF shots. If any one has any more advice for me on using this lens (Suby) pls share!

I bought these two carvings in Jamaica as souvernirs and decided to take a picture because i thought they would make an interesting shot. Since almost everywhere you go in Jamaica you hear music, i thought thes carvings would be a good reminder for me of such a great vacation spot!

another shot at selective coloration! This picture was taken at Dunn River Falls in Jamaica. I came across this couple randomly as i climbled the steps up the falls. This time i used a simpler technique by using multiple layers and the eraser tool in GIMP that shutterchancer Ian Boyter recommended Thanks Ian and thanks Suby for explaining borders to me. Check out my earlier attempt here - http://onada.shutterchance.com/photoblog/7685.htm ~ Onada ~
